Bryant is headed to its first quarterfinals in three seasons.

Tiffany Zecena gave up one run on four hits with 10 strikeouts to lead the eighth-seeded Owls to a 4-1 win over No. 24 Petrides in the PSAL Class A second round Friday in Astoria.

Sarah Temkin went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored and Gabrielle Faustino scored two runs for Bryant (15-3), which travels to top-seed Tottenville for the final eight Monday.

No. 1 Tottenville 14, No. 16 Bronx Science 0: Jillan Regan and Ashley Notaro each had two RBIs apiece to lead Tottenville (18-0), which hosts No. 8 Bryant in the quarterfinals Monday. Cheryl Lopez gave up no runs on two hits with eight strikeouts. Science finishes 10-8.

No. 3 James Madison 10, No. 19 InTech 0: Victoria Slavik went 1-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Jennie Hosty was 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Madison (16-2), which meets No. 6 Francis Lewis in the quarterfinals Monday. InTech finishes 10-8.

No. 4 Construction 9, No. 13 Telecommunications 4: Karen Werner went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored and Kailan Luciano, Amy Pirozek and Britney Rodriguez each had two hits apiece for Construction (17-1), which hosts No. 12 Clinton in the quarterfinals Monday. Telecom finishes 15-3.

No. 6 Francis Lewis 11, No. 11 Stevenson 1: Bianca Concepcion and Taylor Stanton each had three hits and two RBIs to lead Lewis (15-3), which travels to No. 3 James Madison for the quarterfinals Monday. Stevenson finishes 12-6.
