Although the seeding meeting was held Monday, the PSAL Class AA boys basketball brackets won’t be released until Tuesday morning, commissioner Mel Goldstein told The Post.

They were initially posted on the PSAL Web site, along with the Class A and B brackets, this afternoon after the seeding convened, but according to several sources close to the situation, changes had to be made. The list was removed by early evening.

The first one posted had just 23 teams, the sources said, with McKee/Staten Island Tech, which made the quarterfinals last year and finished second in Staten Island A this winter, omitted. This is the first season in the current format that two Staten Island teams have made the ‘AA’ playoffs.

“I guess we really are the forgotten borough,” MSIT coach Charlie Donohue said. “Hopefully we’re playing [next] Tuesday.”

The second list created more problems – Bronx AA foes No. 13 Eagle Academy and No. 20 James Monroe were scheduled to meet in the opening round while rivals No. 6 Lincoln and No. 11 Transit Tech and No. 1 Cardozo and No. 17 Thomas Edison could’ve faced off in the second round.

There is an unwritten rule that borough opponents aren’t supposed to meet until the quarterfinals, the sources said.

“It would be revenge city,” Wadleigh coach Mike Crump said.

Goldstein declined to comment on the changes, other than to say that the committee was going to meet tomorrow morning to make a few “tweaks.” The sources said they expected MSIT to flip-flop with Transit Tech and for there to be minor changes in the back half of the bracket to avoid divisional rematches.
