Ayo Adedapo had 17 points and Dana Gildea had 16 points to lead Curtis to a 51-39 win over Brooklyn Collegiate in non-league girls basketball Friday night on Staten Island. It’s the Warriors’ second victory over the Lions this season and their second big victory of the week after snapping McKee/Staten Island Tech’s 25-game league winning streak Wednesday.

Emonni Cropper led Brooklyn Collegiate (16-7) with 14 points. With the victory, Curtis (13-7) makes another strong care for a very high seed in the PSAL Class A playoffs.

Scholars Academy 37, Flushing 27: Becky Moers had 13 points and Fallon Mullen had nine points for Scholars (20-1), which has won 20 straight and is 5-1 in non-league games – all versus PSAL Class A teams. The Seawolves, who play in PSAL Queens B East, meet Bedford Academy in the PSAL ‘B’ Girls Basketball Showcase on Saturday at HS for Construction. Both teams are undefeated in league play and a top playoffs seed could be on the line.

PSAL CLASS AA

Banneker 76, August Martin 52: Africa Williams had 42 points to lead Banneker (15-8, 11-4 Brooklyn AA Group 2). Evanda Redwood had 23 points, Shauncia McClendon had 17 points and Torri Richard added 10 for Martin (5-8 Queens AA).

PSAL CLASS A

Edison 48, Springfield Gardens 40: Alexirain Bove Domenech dropped in 32 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Edison (15-5, 9-5 Queens A East). Ashley Todd had 10 points and four assists and Kirtesha Challenger added 10 rebounds. Springfield is 0-15.

Graphic Communication Arts 56, Bayard Rustin 42: Batouly Camara had 18 points, Bobbie Whitehead had 15 points and Jamoiree Hagood added 10 points for GCA (9-7 Manhattan A West). Bayard Rustin is 5-11.

PSAL CLASS B

Grady 65, Telecom 21: Travina Beaton had 16 points and Brianna Newman had 16 points to lead Grady (10-1 Brooklyn B South). Telecom is 3-8.

Law Enforcement & Public Safety 62, RFK 27: Whitney Hogan had 23 points, Amber Williams had 12 points and Ludeysi Gonzalez added 11 for LEAPS (11-3 Queens B East).

Millenium 39, Institute for Collaborative Education 25: Michele Li had 13 points and Julia Gordin added 10 points for Millenium (6-8 Manhattan B South). ICE is 2-13.

South Bronx Prep 47, Bronx Academy of Letters 17: Lillybeth Garcia had 21 points to lead South Bronx Prep (6-7 Bronx B East). Bronx Academy of Letters is 4-9.
