Fort Hamilton continued to ride the momentum of its strong finish to the regular season.

The Tigers won their last four games to earn a share of the Brooklyn A-III title. The streak is now five as Fort Hamilton won its playoff opener, 8-1, over visiting Benjamin Banneker in the PSAL girls soccer Class A first round Saturday.

Jasmine Cardona and Katie Fagan each had two goals and two assists for No. 7 Fort Hamilton (10-2-1). Katarzyna Krzeptowska, Albina Balidemaj and Rebecca Wainner each added a goal and an assist. The Tigers move on to play the winner of No. 10 LaGuardia and No. 23 DeWitt Clinton 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the second round. No. 28 Banneker is 5-5-2.

Hunter 1, Long Island City 0: Gillie Collins scored the winner for No. 21 Hunter (7-6) and Danna Kelmer made 5 saves. The Hawks move on to play No. 5 Cardozo 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the second round. No. 12 LIC is 9-1-3.

Cardozo 9, Bryant 1: Creshana Jones scored two goals and added an assist for No. 5 Cardozo (11-1-1). Ebelyse Guaranda had two goals, Amy Gomez added a goal and an assist and Ariel Levy had two helpers. No. 28 Bryant is 5-6-3.

Bayside 7, Truman 0: Anesa Vucetovic tallied two goals for No. 6 Bayside (10-1-2). Carla Pulgarin added a goal and an assist. The Commodores play No. 22 Petrides 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the second round. No. 27 Truman is 5-6-2.

Petrides 4, Lincoln 0: Amanda Feldstein found the back of the next twice for No. 11 Petrides (8-6). Ziasia Gordon added a goal and an assist. No. 12 Lincoln is 6-5-2.

Francis Lewis 4, Prospect Heights 0: Gena Koutsounadis scored a goal and dished out an assist for No. 9 Francis Lewis (9-1-3).
