Leitch signed with the Red Bulls after being waived by Columbus in 207; he made $60,000 last year according to the MLS Player’s Union, and started in the MLS Cup final. HIs departure likely means the club is close to making a decision and reaching agreement on adding more defensive help. Juan Carlos Osorio has three defenders on trial with him in Argentina, and the club has several more names in a holding pattern.
