Red Bulls midfielder Jorge Rojas got fined $750 and suspended an extra game by MLS for his red-card foul and failure to leave the field in a “timely and orderly manner” this past weekend vs. Houston.
The Venezuelan got the 34th-minute red card for violent conduct, which carries an automatic one-game suspension and $250 fine; but after getting a look at the elbow-leg whip combo he threw at Brian Mullan, the league added some extra.
