Red Bulls Alfredo Pacheco and Dane Richards will be called up by their National Teams for next month’s Gold Cup.

Richards will play both games this week _ at Toronto and then Columbus _ before joining the Jamaican National Team on July 1. Jamaica’s first match is two days later in L.A. against Canada. Now Pacheco could be trickier.

Spoting director Jeff Agoos told me today he hasn’t heard word one from El Salvador; but I’m told they wanted Pacheco ASAP. He’ll likely play in Toronto, but Juan Carlos Osorio said FIFA mandates he be released before the Columbus tilt.

BTW, Juan Pablo Angel got kicked in the leg Saturday and sat out practice. He’s hoping to be able to play in Toronto, but it sounds iffy.
