Red Bulls captain Thierry Henry underwent a scan Monday and has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain. The French striker is expected to miss another three to four weeks.

It comes as a significant blow to the Red Bulls, who are already injury-riddled. Henry scored in last weekend’s 1-0 victory, and his nine goals to top the Golden Boot race.

Midfielder Teemu Tainio (right knee sprain), centerback Wilman Conde (groin strain), left back Roy Miller (left knee effusion), centerback Stephen Keel (back strain), and striker Jose Angulo (right knee sprain) are all out for this coming Saturday’s huge tilt at reigning MLS Cup champion Los Angeles, who eliminated the Red Bulls in last year’s hotly-contested playoffs.

Striker Juan Agudelo (left knee surgery recovery) and right back Jan Gunnar Solli (left calf strain) have both been elevated to questionable.

All of the aforementioned are unquestioned starters except Angulo and Agudelo, while the latter could well vie with Kenny Cooper (seven goals) for a spot in the First XI.
