The Red Bulls will be without striker Mac Kandji and defender Alfredo Pacheco for tomorrow night’s game at Houston.

Kandji’s sprained ankle _ suffered when he was hacked down from behind on a red-card foul on last Sunday’s loss at Chicago _ did not heal sufficiently. Over the last two games, he’s looked like the Red Bulls’ most dangerous attacking player, and the 23-year-old will be sorely missed.

Pacheco still hasn’t received his ITC card from his former team, CD FAS. The 26-year-old fullback travelled with the Red Bulls to Houston in hopes that the card would arrive tonight; but the card _ which has to be sent from FAS to El Salvador’s federation and then to MLS _ still hasn’t arrived.

This is a process the club initiated at least a week ago, perhaps more. Wonder if they can call back FAS and demand a discount on the loan fee they paid for Pacheco? No, seriously…
