Red Bulls central midfielder Seth Stammler is listed as out on the team’s initial injury report for Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. Giants Stadium tilt against Kansas City. Stammler _ who led the team in minutes last season _ sat out last Saturday’s 2-1 win at the David Beckham-led L.A. Galaxy after straining his lower back Wednesday in practice.

Fellow central midfielder and team captain Claudio Reyna _ who also missed the Galaxy tilt _ is questionale with a strained left calf. Also questionable are defender Chris Leitch (left MCL sprain), midfielder Sinisa Ubiparipovic (left hamstring strain) and striker John Wolyniec (right hamstring strain).
