David Ousted saved two penalty kicks, and the Vancouver Whitecaps beat the 10-man Red Bulls, 2-1, on Saturday night in Harrison, N.J. It was the Red Bulls’ fourth MLS loss in a row.

Bradley Wright-Phillips took the penalty kicks for the Red Bulls (4-5-5) in the fifth and the 65th minutes.

After Vancouver took a 2-0 lead, Anatole Abang pulled the Red Bulls back within one in the 82nd minute. Ousted deflected Manolo Sanchez’s low-skipping shot out of play a minute later.

The Red Bulls’ Sacha Kljestan picked up the red card in the 11th when he elbowed and tripped Kendall Waston.
