Former Yankees slugger Reggie Jackson blasted the ESPN mini-series ‘The Bronx is Burning’ in a recent radio interview.

The series, which aired in 2007, depicted the Yankees’ 1977 World Series season — the year Jackson joined the team. Some scenes portrayed Jackson as selfish and a lot of the time was devoted to his feud with manager Billy Martin.

“I was humiliated … I was sick to my stomach … They cut and pasted all interviews from the past,” Jackson said. “They never asked me a question, they never collaborated with me, they never asked me to participate … it was one of the most embarrassing things that I’ve ever experienced in my life.”
