TORONTO – Met relievers not only kept the Blue Jays scoreless for the final six innings of last night’s game, they kept them hitless.

So with the all the words about how the Mets are looking for relief help via trade, the pen gave evidence it may not need anyone during last night’s 7-5, come-from behind win over the Blue Jays.

“It shows what we can do if we get on a roll,” said John Franco, who again looked excellent, throwing 11/3 innings for the win.

The Mets actually had eight straight hitless innings as Rick Reed didn’t allow any knocks his final two.
