A’ight, serious question y’all. Especially you Newcastle people.

The Daily Express is claiming Manchester City has a handshake deal to bring oft-injured Michael Owen to the Abu Dhabi-owned club in the summer, assuming they stay in the Premiership. Now, if I had their cash, I’d be splashing it on, oh, I don’t know, young rising Brazilians or Argentines that could actually play; but that’s just me.

So I’m asking do you think the world’s richest club would actually throw perfectly good money at a 29-year-old hobbit who’s more brittle than Glass Joe? I mean, son could get hurt walking out to his mailbox in his castle. A stiff breeze might put him out of action for a month. Does that make one damn bit of sense? Do you think this move is fishy, or just stupid?
