So, if reports out of England are to be believed, now we know what the L.A. Galaxy want to David Beckham. They’ve rejected AC Milan’s initial bid of $10 million for the midfielder, and according to the Mirror, are demanding $22 million from the Serie A giants.

Beckham is slated to return from his shirt loan stint on March 9, but finally admitted he’s hoping to make his move to the San Siro permanent. Sounds like that’ll be a pretty costly move, both for Goldenballs (who’ll have to take a big pay cut) and his new employer (who’ll have to pay through the nose).

“We made an offer to Galaxy and they didn’t accept it,” said AC Milan GM Adriano Galliani. “However, there’s a willingness to talk. At the moment we’re very far apart but there is still a month left.”
