Pedro Martinez could add another second-half act to his career.
The former Mets ace turned Phillies second-half savior has talked with the Phillies again about another return after the All-Star break, according to ESPNdeportes.
“We have talked to his agent, but there’s nothing so far,” Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said. “We have talked. We are not negotiating or anything like that, but we have talked to him. It also depends on whether he wants to play or not.”
Last season, Martinez, 38, went 5-1 with a 3.63 ERA in nine second-half starts.
