New Red Bull coach Hans Backe is set to hire fellow Swede Goran Aral, according to website Aftonbladet. Aral recently spent time as the sport director of Djurgardens, and has reportedly inked a two-year deal with Red Bull.

The article says assistants Richie Williams and Des McAleenan will be kept on. And while Red Bull New York wouldn’t deny the report when I checked, apparently Djurgårdens wouldn’t deny it to the Swedish media either.
