The Red Bulls may have seen yet another viable coaching candidate fall by the wayside. Åge Hareide has reportedly reached a deal to coach Norway’s Viking, according to nettavisen.no.

The report indicates that the deal is completed, and while it isn’t official yet, it should be announced very soon. That would leave sporting director Erik Soler _ who STILL hasn’t been formally introduced by Red Bull New York yet _ moving on to other candidates.

Tony Adams was on Red Bull’s shortlist, according to SBI. Apparently being a former teammate of Designated Player target Thierry Henry is enough to outweigh having presided over the worst start in Premier League history. At least in the eyes of those making decisions at Red Bull _ whoever that is.
