Aaron Rodgers is dismissing Brett Favre’s recent comments. The Packers quarterback would rather talk about the accomplishments of his teammates than dwell on what his predecessor thinks.

In a radio interview with Atlanta’s 790 The Zone, Favre made remarks that could be interpreted as a subtle attempt to downplay Rodgers’ achievements.

Favre said he wasn’t surprised Rodgers won a Super Bowl, saying “the biggest surprise to me would be that he didn’t do it sooner.”

Favre acknowledged Rodgers is “very good,” but said he “just kind of fell into a good situation” with a talented team around him.

Asked about Favre’s comments yesterday, Rodgers deflected focus to his teammates, saying, “I’m just going to say I was really proud of our team. It takes 53 guys to win a championship.”

EAGLES: Michael Vick said the “Dream Team” notion is “dead,” and the Philadelphia has to focus on being itself.

The defending NFC East champions are 1-3 in a season that began with Super Bowl aspirations.

Backup quarterback Vince Young was the first to label the Eagles a “Dream Team” after signing a one-year deal to be Vick’s backup in July. Young was one of several big-name players Philadelphia acquired during the offseason.

TEXANS: All-Pro receiver Andre Johnson will miss Sunday’s game against Oakland after a minor procedure to repair a right hamstring injury.

DOLPHINS: Matt Moore is likely to start for Miami when the Dolphins play their next game Oct. 17 against the Jets.
