A matchup with Army in Yankee Stadium and a trip to North Carolina highlight the 2011 Rutgers football schedule.

The Nov. 12 matchup with Army will be the first time Rutgers has played in Yankee Stadium since 1948.

Home games against Big East Conference foes Pittsburgh, West Virginia, South Florida and Cincinnati are on the schedule released Friday.

The Scarlet Knights will kick off the season Sept. 1, at home against North Carolina Central in a Thursday night game. They then travel to Chapel Hill for a game against North Carolina on Sept. 10.

After taking a week off, they will host Ohio on Sept. 24 before starting their conference schedule with a trip to Syracuse on Oct. 1.
