Fresh off a 37-10 win over Kansas State in the Texas Bowl, Rutgers coach Greg Schiano is in the process of establishing his own charity fund to assist in the search for missing children.

Schiano, a father of four, said he began thinking about establishing a fund long before the Scarlet Knights capped their season with the first bowl win in 137 years of football.

The idea came to him when he learned about a child-identification program known as Smile Safe Kids that has been instituted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“Football is important to me, but nothing is more important than my family and faith,” Schiano told The Post.

Schiano has begun talks about the fund. It probably will be called the Greg Schiano Family Foundation.
