The Bronx Science boys and the DeWitt Clinton girls each recorded a three-peat at the PSAL Bronx indoor track and field championship.

The Wolverines topped Truman, 129-75, with Columbus placing third with 74 points at the Armory last week. Clinton beat kept Bronx Science from claiming both crowns by beating them, 168-84, and saw Truman come in third with a score of 69 points.

Aaron Somoroff of Bronx Science won the 1600 meters with a time of 4:30.68 and fellow Wolverine Pier Berkmans was third in 4:47.46. He also placed second in the 3200 in 11:10.97 behind teammate Andrew Rock (11:08.82). Science swept the top seven spots. Adam Yohanan (2:37.65), Aaron Roseman (2:39.93) and Joseph Ledger (2:46.56) placed second, third and fourth in the 1000. Rock, Ledger, Yohanan and Max Zimmerman were second in the 4 x 800 relay in 9:02.59. Juannell Riley were first in the shot put with a toss of 46-1.50.

Clinton swept the top three spots in the 55 hurdles with Rudje Beckford winning in 7.77 and Jeremiah Obeng Agyapong was second in 8.09. Columbus’ Davion Wint won the 55 dash in 6.6.1, the 300 with a time of 35.11 and the long jump with a leap of 21 feet 4.25 inches. Teammate Strymar Livingston took home the 600 crown with a mark of 1:20.59, won the 1000 in 2:37.37 and was second in the 1600 with at time of 4:42.45.

Truman’s squad of Andrew Reid, Wayne Bailey, Abdul Mali Rahman and Giovahn Watson won the 4 x 200 relay with a time of 1:32.66. Their teammates Shane Cherry, Kevin Mathis, Boubacar and Jose Vidal Bueno were first in the 3:36.6. Jaylan Sumter, Joseph Bernardez, Romaine Angle and Wayne Ferrance took home the 4 x 800 title in 8:49.59.

The Mustangs’ Michael Halljr was first in the high jump with leap of 6-02, second in the long jump in 21-03.50 and second in the triple jump (42-08.25). Clinton’s Pierre Francois took home the triple jump crown in 44-02.75. Timothy Peterson of John F. Kennedy was the pole vault champion with a leap of 10-0.

DeWitt Clinton was not to be outdone on the girls side.

The Governors’ Brittany Adams won the 1500 in 5:19.93 and the 3000 in 11:57.31. Katrina Lambert took home the 300 title in 40.75 and Dejeour Callender was third in 45.51. Marlena Wright (1:38.65) and Fatomata Samura (1:39.62) placed first and second respectively in the 600. Patrice High was second in the 55 hurdles in 9.37.

Callender, Wright, Katrina Lambert and Shavon Fields took home the 4 x 400 crown with a time of 4:13.69. Brittany Broomfield was the shot put champ with a toss of 38 feet 7.25 inches. Tsian Haywood (16-8.50) and Ethanity Dunn (15-10.00) were first and second in the long jump and one and two in the triple jump with leaps of 36-03.00 and 35-11.00.

Kimberly Bailey of Taft won the 55 dash in 7.31. Truman’s Treasure Glymph was first in the 55 hurdles in 8.83 and Mirriam Gaye told the gold with a time of 3:36.24 in the 1000. Gaye, Susanna Baez, Harriet Abdagye and Beverly Seignious were the 4 x 800 meter champion in 10:50.70. Bronx Science’s Aimy Yu was the first in the 1500 race walk in 8:04.51.

Alexia Blake, Erica Little, Nida Wilson and Yvonne Valenzuela was first in the 4 x 200 in 1:49.56 in the 4 x 200 relay for Evander Childs. Taft’s Jonelle Campbell was the high jump champ with a leap of 4-10 inches and Columbus’ Brittany Okon won the long jump in 16-08.50.
