Here’s a look at the Rangers-Devils meetings this season:

Oct. 8: Devils 3 at Rangers 2 (OT)

The Rangers take the game’s first 11 shots, with Jason Ward giving them the lead. Viktor Kozlov squared matters on the first official shot Henrik Lundqvist faced in the NHL, the only one New Jersey was credited with in the first period. Alexander Mogilny forced OT when his rebound was nudged in by a Ranger in the third. Brian Rafalski spoiled Lundqvist’s NHL debut with the winner from the left circle.

Oct. 13: Devils 1 at Rangers 4

Lundqvist gained his first NHL victory as the Rangers took a 3-0 first-period lead on the Devils for the first time in 13 years. Blair Betts’ goal against Martin Brodeur had the Garden chanting “Mar-ty!” Brian Gionta spoiled Lundqvist’s shutout bid before Jaromir Jagr completed the scoring. “They have difficulty with our speed,” Martin Rucinsky said.

Nov. 3: Rangers 4 at Devils 2

A crowd announced at 14,596 saw the Rangers win a second straight from the Devils for the first time since 1996-97, the previous time the Rangers made the playoffs. Brodeur (knee) sat out his fourth straight, ending his streak of 68 straight starts, including playoffs, against the Rangers, dating to 1993.

Nov. 5: Devils 2 at Rangers 3 (SO)

The Rangers beat the Devils a third straight time for the first time since 1993-94, erasing a 2-0 deficit provided by Gionta’s pair against Kevin Weekes. Petr Prucha and Blair Betts brought the Rangers back on Scott Clemmensen, and Prucha won the shootout in the fourth round.

Dec. 20: Devils 3 at Rangers 1

In Lou Lamoriello’s first game behind the bench, one day after Larry Robinson resigned, the Devils scored three in the final 5:41 to win for the first time in regulation in 10 games. The Rangers lost a third straight for the first time in season. Brodeur was back in net.

Jan. 22: Devils 1 at Rangers 3

The Rangers ended the Devils’ 2006-opening nine-game winning streak; Prucha and Michal Nylander staked Lundqvist to a 2-0 lead. Darius Kasparaitis was ejected for an elbow on Grant Marshall.

March 4: Rangers 1 at Devils 2

Jay Pandolfo shadowed Jagr to help snap the Rangers’ seven-game winning streak. Gionta scored the winner on Weekes in the second. Marshall flapped his arms “chicken” style after Kasparaitis refused to fight.

April 9: Rangers 2 at Devils 3

The Rangers started a season-ending five-game skid as Gomez and Gionta burned Weekes 1:39 apart in third. The Devils stretched their winning streak to seven. Ryan Hollweg bloodied Brylin with a second-period charge.
