A Tampa TV reporter nearly had her pretty noggin taken off by a screaming line drive, that she remarkably captured in this hair-raising selfie.
Kelly Nash of Sun Sports Rays shot this picture Sunday at Fenway Park, before the Rays-Red Sox game.
She had her backed turned to batting practice when this bullet was hit toward her. A producer warned her to keep her eyes on BP but she risked it anyway for this one shot that nearly cost her.
Nash told friends to watch “Good Morning America” today because the ABC show was going to profile her close call. But she got bumped at the last second for a story about a naughty camel.
She tweeted: “Sorry for telling all my friends to watch @GMA today. Was told was going to be on “Play of the Day”. Replaced by camel story:( Embarrassed.”
