YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: Akira stumbled at the break and came on six wide to get the place spot, but the dead heat cost us some coin. The $20 place bet returned $32, as we ate the win bet. City Vice looked to be in contention at the quarter-pole at 21-1, but the chart says sixth, and that doesn’t help. Lost $18.
