Each starts with a bankroll of $2,000, with a maximum bet of $50 a day. May the best bettor win!

JOHN DaSILVA

TODAY’S PLAY: In the ninth race, Barocci gets a better post position and should get up in time for the victory. Play a $10 exacta box of Barocci with Mahubo and Eversoul. Then play a $10 double of Barocci with Royal Delta. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: All bets refunded as key horse Battle Hardened was a late vet scratch.

BANKROLL: $1,802

VIC CANGIALOSI

TODAY’S PLAY: In race five, we’ll play two $10 doubles using Mr. Cowboy with Stone Broke and Patron Elizabeth in the sixth. In the tenth, let’s put $30 to win on Royal Delta. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: Lost $20 on the win bet when Soulsinging finished last in the field of ten, and Sneaky Kitten managed to sneak off the board and kill the $30 win bet. Lost $50.

BANKROLL: $1,634

ED FOUNTAINE

TODAY’S PLAY: In the ninth race (turf only), $40 double: Barocci with Royal Delta in the 10th race, the Personal Ensign; $10 double, Bombaguia with Royal Delta. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: Confucius say: “Short price better than long face.” In the first race, Brigand ($20 win) won paying $3; with Jeter second, caught the $14.40 exacta for $5. Profit of $16.

BANKROLL: $1,950.

ANTHONY AFFRUNTI

TODAY’S PLAY: Fight off the Travers hangover in the fourth race with $40 to win on Be Bullish, who always gives an honest effort. Tiny Predicament looked sharp in his last and should run well here. Remaining $10 to win on him in the seventh . Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: The long awaited Archwarrior scratched in the second, so the bet moved to Kangaro who was sitting at 5 to 1 during the post parade, when the gelding became the 11,946th late scratch at a NYRA track since the Giants last Super Bowl victory. Saved $50 twice.

BANKROLL: $1,990.10
