Bill Simmons’ frustration with ESPN again reached a point where he felt the need to unleash on the World Wide Leader on Twitter and on another one of the network’s famous personalities.
Simmons was angered that “SportsCenter” cut out a joke he made on the NBA Finals broadcast about Dwyane Wade going to Germany to receive blood treatment, like Kobe Bryant did, as a way of explaining his improved play of the Heat star from Game 3 to 4. There are PED overtones to the joke, but was still fairly tame. It was put back in for the morning editions of “SportsCenter.”
Simmons also used the tweet to take a jab at “First Take” host Stephen A. Smith.
Wow, SportsCenter edited my joke out about Wade going to Germany before Game 4 – I should have just ripped people to shreds like SAS did.

The rigidity of studio TV is really discouraging. Let's just say that A LOT makes sense after these past 8 months.

The last time Simmons took a shot at his employer was when he called a ”First Take” exchange between Smith’s co-host Skip Bayless and Seahawks CB Richard Sherman “embarrassing.” He was suspended from Twitter for a few days for those comments.
