Knicks forward Eddy Curry was the father of the 10-month old baby slain in Chicago last week, the Sun-Times reports.
Curry’s 3-year-old son witnessed the death of his mother Ava Henry and sister Nova. It was not originally known that Curry was the father of both children.
“The family never had a doubt of who the father is,” a spokesman for the Henry family told the paper.
Curry is on a leave of absence from the Knicks, who was told by team president Donnie Walsh to “to take the time that he needs.” Curry has been battling a knee injury and has played less than 3 minutes all season.
