The junior ace, known for being perhaps the best pitcher in the city, had the go-ahead two-run single in the seventh to lead Tottenville to a 5-3 win over host McKee/Staten Island Tech in PSAL Staten Island A softball Wednesday.
Lopez gave up three earned runs on four hits with 13 strikeouts in seven innings for Tottenville (15-0 Staten Island A). Ashley Notaro, Nylah Ramirez, Nicole Bellini and Jennifer Palase all had two hits apiece.
Blayse Halvorsen had a two-RBI double and allowed five runs on 10 hits with five strikeouts in seven innings for MSIT (12-4), which was up 3-2 heading into the seventh.
Telecommunications 11, Midwood 1: Susan Gutekunst had four RBIs and Jessica Sacco and Ayerin Gomez each had three RBIs apiece for Telecom (13-2 Brooklyn A). Midwood is 6-9.
American Studies @ Lehman 4, Clinton 3 (8 innings): Sarah Paisner gave up two earned runs on six hits with 13 strikeouts in eight innings to lead American Studies (5-11 Bronx A). Imani Graham had two hits and Elizabeth Merrick scored twice. Kimberly Martinez had two RBIs for Clinton (10-6).
Stuyvesant 8, Environmental Studies 7: Morgan Higgins went 5-for-5 with three RBIs and five runs scored and Gabrielle Gillow was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead Stuy (13-1 Manhattan A). Environmental Studies is 5-8.
Stevenson 24, Riverdale/Kingsbridge 16: Gianny Jimenez went 4-for-5 with five RBIs and four runs scored and Maranda Diaz and Keyana Brown Wiggins each had four RBIs apiece for Stevenson (11-5 Bronx A), which moves into first place. RKA is 2-14.
Bronx Science 6, InTech Academy 2: Elizabeth Reddy went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored and Jennifer Kellner gave up two runs on four hits with six strikeouts in seven innings for Science (9-7 Bronx A). InTech is 9-7.

Horace Mann 6, Dalton 2: Paige McMahon went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Kaitlyn Puglia was 1-for-4 with a two-run triple for Horace Mann (8-3), which meets first-place Fieldston on Monday.

Grady 31, John Dewey 0: Marika Matheson was perfect in four innings with nine strikeouts and also had a home run and six RBIs to lead Grady (13-2 Brooklyn B-I). Dewey is 3-12.
Robert Wagner 38, Info Tech 29: Jamie Zambrano went 4-for-5 with six RBIs and five runs scored and Ayda Gonzalez went 2-for-2 with five RBIs and two runs scored for Wagner (2-13 Queens B-I). Info Tech is 5-10.
