Win or lose, tomorrow will bring another thrill for George Mason coach Jim Larranaga. He gets to meet his grandson, James Joseph Larranaga III, born in Italy on Feb. 9.

Larranaga’s son Jay, who plays professionally in Italy, is flying from Rome with his family and is due to arrive in Indianapolis at about 3 p.m. tomorrow, some three hours before the Patriots are scheduled to tip off against Florida in the NCAA semifinals.

“Isn’t it amazing,” said Larranaga. “It took the Final Four to bring the family together.”
