Former Seton Hall athletic director Joe Quinlan has been appointed the interim athletic director at Saint Peter’s College.

The university announced the appointment Thursday, saying Quinlan will move into his new job on Nov. 14. He takes over from Patrick Elliott, who left to become the athletic director at Binghamton in New York.

Quinlan served as the athletic director at Seton Hall from 2005-10. He served as senior associate athletics director and then deputy director at Rutgers prior to that.
