Team SCAN’s No. 1 national ranking held up last weekend.

With five players in double figures, the SCAN 16-and-under team defeated Long Island Lightning Law, 73-38, in the CT Elite Under Armour Shootout championship game playing up at the 17s level.

Chris McCullough, Shavar Newkirk, Conrad Chambers, Quincy McKnight and Kevin Seymour all scored in double figures and SCAN won five games in the tournament by an average of 23 points.

Terry Larrier, Eric Long, Cheick Diallo and Michael Jurzynski also contributed for the Bronx-based Team SCAN, which competes this weekend in the King of New York Classic at Gauchos Gym.
