Talk about a bettor.

James Bonitsis bets football every week, plays in poker tournaments in Atlantic City and with the boys every week and, as a mail carrier in midtown Manhattan, plays with his life every day. The only thing he doesn’t bet on is golf.

“I’m a hacker,” Bonitsis said. “I tell people I’m a five handicap. If I lose less than five balls I’m happy.”

As a letter carrier, Bonitsis has delivered some strange packages. But the oddest? Crickets.

His picks are: Giants, Jets, Redskins, Steelers, Lions, Texans, Panthers, Dolphins, Colts, Browns, Vikings, Cowboys, Ravens and Eagles.

Last week’s fan, Jose Roman, went 7-6-1 for a winning percentage of .536. The fan with the highest winning percentage at the end of the season will win $1,000. In the case of a tie, the prize will be split evenly.

Ed Salerno leads with a .679 winning percentage (9-4-1).
