THE FAN’S CORNER
Last time we talked with Rob Kuhn, he was reminiscing about his days as a quasi Dead Head.
He didn’t follow the band around like some of the other fanatics, but he made it to his share of concerts – over 30 of them.
Well, if the Grateful Dead were still touring, Kuhn would have a bit more spending money this time around.
Kuhn, who made his picks in Week 5, won the Fan’s Corner $1,000 pot with a whopping 11-3 record for a .786 winning percentage.
“I spent the last 10 weeks watching every game and comparing my picks to that week’s fan,” Kuhn said. “Most weeks, the fan had a .500 or .600 record. [But] one week, I went 11-4-1, so I convinced myself that someone could beat me.”
Kuhn said he’s going to use the money to pay off his Christmas gift bills.
For the wild-card weekend games, Rob picks the Jets, Seahawks, Colts and Packers.
Last week’s fan, Dan Brodsky, went 7-9 for a .438 winning percentage.
