Eugene Guerrera once dreamed about being the guy writing the Fan’s Corner, not the one featured in it. Then he came to his senses.

“I wanted to be a sports writer,” Guerrera said, “but I wanted to make money.”

So Guerrera chose the slightly more lucrative profession of financial consultant.

Now Guerrera lives his life as an avid sports fan. The 65-year-old Waterbury, Conn., native has season tickets to Boston College football games.

Eugene’s picks are: Giants, Jets, Rams, Eagles, Bengals, Saints, Dolphins, Colts, Bills, Bucs, Seahawks, Patriots, 49ers, Broncos.

Last week’s fan, Mike Clancy, went 5-10-1 for a .344 winning percentage. Matt Coleman retained the overall lead with a .438 winning percentage.

The fan with the highest winning percentage at the end of the season will win $1,000. In the case of a tie, the prize will be split evenly.
