Seems Rasheid McCorvey has had a contentious relationship with the media since the age of 9.

When he a young’n, McCorvey, 36, got so sick of hearing broadcasters talk about the Broncos’ “Orange Crush” defense that he said to himself, “I’m going to root for whomever they’re playing.”

That year, in Super Bowl XII, they played the Cowboys. Ever since, he’s been a fan of the ‘Boys.

Maybe if he wins the Fan’s Corner thousand, he’ll extend the olive branch to us media types.

Rasheid’s picks are: Giants, Broncos, Panthers, Titans, Patriots, Rams, Falcons, Raiders, Cowboys, Dolphins, Seahawks, Colts, Chargers, Ravens, Texans, Packers.

Last week’s fan, Jayson Gleason, went 9-5 for a .643 winning percentage. Stefani Butler retained the overall lead with a .679 winning percentage.

The fan with the highest winning percentage at the end of the season will win $1,000. In the case of a tie, the prize will be split evenly.

If you would like to be in The Fan’s Corner, tell us about yourself and send a color mug shot and phone number to the New York Post Sports Dept., 1211 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10036.
