Roman Abramovich just reportedly beefed up his art collection with the purchase of Lucian Freud’s “Benefits Supervisor Sleeping”.
Apparently, the Chelsea owner paid by the pound, forking over a heaping helping of dough to the tune of £17 million (or about $34M US).
This is the photo of a painting for which Abramovich purportedly paid big bucks.
This painting alone wasn’t enough to sate Abramovich’s appetite for porcine art; he is reported to have loaded up with a Francis Bacon work as well.
