Brock Lesnar’s return to the UFC was fun while it lasted.

The former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE star, who defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in his return after a five-year hiatus, failed an in-competition drug test, it was announced on Tuesday. This comes on the heels of Friday’s announcement that Lesnar failed an out-of-competition drug test on June 28 administered by USADA, the UFC’s anti-doping partner.

The 39-year-old is facing at least a two-year ban from the UFC, but will go through the adjudication process with the USADA first. He could also get sanctioned by the Nevada Athletic Commission, which has jurisdiction in both cases.

The UFC said Lesnar failed both tests for the same substance, though that drug has yet to be revealed, and won’t be unless Lesnar chooses to announce it.

The two positive tests could lead to further sanctioning for Lesnar, who told the Associated Press after the first violation: “We will get to the bottom of this.”
