After a two-year hiatus, Yonkers Raceway’s signature event, the Yonkers Trot, returns home tonight with $728,930 on the line.

The talented field of eight features the top-ranked 3-year-old trotter in training, Glidemaster, whose connections put up a $60,000 supplemental fee for a chance to win the prestigious trotting triple crown. Only Windsongs Legacy in 2004 completed the elusive hat trick in the last 34 years.

Trained by Blair Burgess and driven by George Brennan, Glidemaster is the 4-5 morning-line favorite from post position 5.

The Yonkers Trot is the seventh race (probable post time, 9:40 p.m.) on tonight’s nine-race card, which kicks off at 7:40 p.m.
