FIRST RACE – Glitternmepporridge gunned up rail to take lead under Edgar Prado, was soon hooked by Sinkwich, Eibar Coa up, and those two waged furious duel opening up on rest of field down backside, around turn. They were still knocking heads to mid-stretch, when Sinkwich began to edge clear, but duel simply set things up for even-money fa- vorite Tuffertiger, who dropped back early under Garrett Gomez, came charging to blow by Sinkwich, took command inside final sixteenth. Elements was along late for second.
