The U.S. just finished off a 2-0 win over ten-man Mexico, the third straight time they’ve beaten El Tri by that scoreline on American soil. They ran their home unbeaten streak against their archrivals to 11 games, and midfielder Michael Bradley was the offensive star with both goals.

He tapped in Landon Donovan’s header off a corner kick, then after Jozy Altidore got taken down but the ref played advantage, Donovan played the ball to ‘Lil Bradley who scored on a long blast. Tim Howard kept the clean sheet _ even though he’ll miss the El Salvador qualifier because of a yellow card _ and it’s hard to think of a better way for the U.S. to have started the final round of World Cup qualifying.
