Either UCLA’s Tony Parker is a women’s jewelry aficionado or…
Minutes after Parker helped lead the Bruins into the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 with a bullying 28-point, 12-rebound showing in a 92-75 victory over UAB, he stopped to chat with CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce.
He bided his time through a few basic questions, then made his move: “Nice bracelet, by the way.”
LaForce said “thank you,” and with that, Parker was off into the tunnel.
Too bad for the 6-foot-9 junior, LaForce is taken. The 26-year-old blonde — a former college basketball player and beauty queen — is married to Angels relief pitcher Joe Smith.
Getting requests to tweet out a pic of the bracelet thanks to @UCLAMBB player Tony Parker haha thanks @vivijewelryincpic.twitter.com/Zm60d2EFwH
