UFC president Dana White still holds a major grudge against Justin Timberlake for blowing off his kids a few years ago at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
“Just couldn’t have been a bigger [expletive],” White said in an interview in this week’s Sports Illustrated.
White explained that he, his wife and his three kids – two sons and a daughter – were backstage in the Black Eyed Peas’ dressing room. His kids and the daughter of UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta met “all the A-listers” like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and the like. Timberlake was the only one to give them the cold shoulder.
“There [are] no other kids backstage,” White said. “No other kids. Just my kids, and I think I have Lorenzo’s daughter with me, too. … The biggest [expletive] back there was Justin Timberlake.”
The SI interviewer said he heard Timberlake was a big UFC fan. White didn’t seem to care very much.
“I don’t know if he’s a UFC fan or not, but I’m not a big Timberlake fan,” White said. “Takes two seconds to say hi to a kid. Takes two seconds. I never run by anybody. If you’re a fan of the UFC and you like it or your kids like it, why would I not want to talk to you? Why would I not?”
White has good relationships with celebrities like Bieber and Shaquille O’Neal. But it doesn’t seem like Timberlake will be on his holiday card list anytime soon.
