The Grade 1 Haskell at Monmouth lost the feel good story of the race as Uptowncharlybrown, owned by Fantasy Lane Stables, has been scratched from the race due to a fever.

The horse is trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, who took over the training for longtime Jersey horseman Alan Seewald, who passed away from a heart attack in April. For Seewald and the Jersey-based Fantasy Lane, with the 59 investors for Uptowncharlybrown, the Haskell was always the major goal on their schedule for the 3-year-old by Limehouse.
