Only the World Cup can bring together the planet’s greatest soccer players — along with Lakers star Kobe Bryant, tennis sensation Roger Federer, and Homer Simpson.

A new Nike commercial released Friday has soccer fans around the globe abuzz, with 1.3 million YouTube views — and counting — in a span of a few hours.

The ad — called “Write The Future” — is about 3 minutes long and composed by writer-director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.

The ad features an all-star lineup, including: Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney, Fabio Cannavaro, Franck Ribery, Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Patrice Evra, Gerard Pique, Ronaldinho, Landon Donovan, Tim Howard and Thiago Silva.

The commercial will make its television debut Saturday during the Champions League final between Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, which will be broadcast live on FOX at 2:30 p.m.
