Testaverde had yet another splendid afternoon in the Jets’ 34-24 win over the Jaguars yesterday at Giants Stadium. His numbers were much gaudier than his personality as he once again directed the Jets’ offense with aplomb and came up with the crucial completion whenever it was necessary.
