Barring last-minute upheaval, Charlie Ward will announce today he has chosen Spurs over Nets and Rockets. So the Nets will re-sign Robert Pack after he clears waivers at 2 o’clock – Pack made trip to Philadelphia.

Ward wanted multiple years, which the Nets refused to offer. Sources in San Antonio confirmed that Ward called Spurs players to say he was coming to the World Champs. Pack will get a couple of 10-day contracts and then be re-signed for the remainder of the season.
