Thanks to their continual success, the Spurs find themselves on national TV often.
Unfortunately for their coach Gregg Popovich that means more opportunities to be interviewed by sideline reporters, as it is part of the league’s agreement with ESPN and TNT. Popovich is usually as brief as possible during these interviews and sounds unbearably frustrated with the few words he does say.
David Aldridge was working the TNT game on Thursday night (Spurs beat the Thunder), and he asked Popovich at the end of the third quarter if he was “happy with the shot selection.” That seemingly innocent question by a respected NBA reporter got the coach riled up and he unleashed on Aldridge as you can see in the video.
