As painful as it is, let’s take a step back from the Jay Cutler speculation.

It sounds as if the Cutler will remain on the Broncos roster at least for the time being. That may not last, but for right now let’s assume the Jets do start their season with Kellen Clemens and Brett Ratliff battling for the starting quarterback position.

The Jets reportedly are interested, but so are about 10 other teams, so who knows how this will play out, even if the Broncos end up trading him.
