Week 1 is behind and now begins the subtle, week-to-week retooling of your fantasy roster. Here’s some players to target this week who might be on your waiver wire.

Michael Vick, QB, Eagles

Even before starter Kevin Kolb went out with a concussion, we were ready to recommend Vick. Coach Andy reid was shuffling his QBs in and out of the game, which was going to neuter Kolb’s value anyway, and that was before the injury. Seeing how much better the offense performed with Vick under center consistently, we see no reason why the Eagles would, 1, not make Vick the starter based solely on his performance; or 2, why they would rush back an unimpressive player with a concussion.

This could be a monster waiver grab if you drafted Kolb or are stuck starting Matt Ryan, Donovan McNabb, Brett Favre or the like. We even suggest starting Vick this week vs. the Lions

Brandon Jackson, RB, Packers

We were not overly impressed with Jackson’s performance after Ryan Grant was lost to an ankle injury. But he did post decent numbers vs. a team that is stingy vs. the run. Don’t expect great things, but on an offense a potent as the Packers, you can’t ignore the No. 1 run option.

Legedu Naanee, Wr, Chargers

In the off chance he hasn’t been snagged yet, grab him. Along with tight end Antonio Gates, he was Philip Rivers’ best target.

Matt Hasselbeck, QB, Seahawks

First, a disclaimer: We don’t think the Seahawks are near as good as they looked in Week 1 (nor do we believe the 49ers are that bad), but obviously Hassey has something left. With a running game that will take a while to find its legs, expect the Seahawks to live through the air. Hasselbeck will be a solid backup option, in lieu of Matthew Stafford, David Garrard, Chad Henne and the like.

Eddie Royal, WR, Broncos

Looked better in week 1 than he looked all of last season. Certainly worth a pick-up as your fourth or fifth WR, assuming your roster is stacked with solid wideouts.
